My teaching studio was established in Missoula in 2015. Since then I've worked with over 60 dedicated private students in the Missoula and Bitterroot Valley, and even had a few go on to continue musical studies at the university level. The most important thing is to learn how music-making can be a life-long joy and pursuit, enhancing your creative energy and inspiring your career no matter the direction you go.

I'm a performer in the String Orchestra of the Rockies, and the President of the Missoula Music Teachers Association, which is the local chapter of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). You can hear my string recordings on Spotify & Apple Music on albums by Mike Murray, Louise Weseth, Dean & Riley, and King Youngblood. I also love performing for weddings with my cellist friend and colleague, Jessica Catron with our ensemble: The Receptionists.
